Marin loves to play with clips and bows.
She refuses to keep them in her hair most of the time, but she is starting to come around.
This makes Mommy very happy, so people will stop calling her a BOY!  Just because a kid does not have a lot of hair does not automatically make them a boy!!!

Baby Brooklyn

Last weekend our cousins from Ohio stopped in for the weekend.  Baby Brooklyn was the highlight for Marin.  She loves babies, which I guess is a good thing since we are going to have one in our house in April.  Marin thinks that she is a little mommy!

Happy Fall

I am so terrible at keeping up with this thing...!  Since it has been a few months since my last post I decided to go ahead and post some pictures.  Fall is such a great time to be outside.
This is a pretty typical Marin face.  She is a silly kid.
I think that she gets it from her daddy!

I thought tricycles were fun?

Sweet Baby...Pre-bike riding disaster!
Having fun in the driveway...
Can't reach the petals like a big girl...
I HATE THIS THING!
I'm goin' inside...

Next stop...Omaha Zoo

We went to Omaha to hang out with Matthew's uncle, aunt, and cousins.  The zoo was a great time and it was great to visit with family!

Pretty Peacock!

The elephants were Marin's favorite animal at the zoo!
She was totally mesmerized by them.

So tired after a fun day at the zoo!

First Stop...Lake of the Ozarks

The Adams Family has been doing some traveling the last few weeks.
Our first stop was to the Lake.

Marin shares her mommy's love for the water...finally!  She did not enjoy her first few visits to the pool.  Needless to say, I felt like it was some kind of sick joke!  Luckily, she came around.

Marin...the newest Backyardigan

Marin loves to be outside at all times.

Ouch!

If anyone was thinking about taking Marin on in the boxing ring...they should think twice...check out this lip...She was playing in the rocks outside and fell into a big stepping stone...ouch

Marin's terrible, horrible, no-good very bad day

The real tough thing about being 1 is that there is no real way for you to communicate...Marin has had diarrhea for 4 long days now. I have washed her sheets about 6 times, gone through 2 packages of wipes, 2 tubes of butt paste, and about 50 diapers...so, if you can imagine what your butt feels like after having 1 day of diarrhea, imagine having it for 4 days and doing it all in a diaper...enough said! And on top of all of this she is getting 2 new teeth. Yikes. And, me the nurse, is worried that she is going to get dehydrated, so I won't let her play outside for too long, which to Marin might be the biggest injustice of all. And, maybe the worst of all...Niyah the dog, Marin's best friend had to stay outside all day because she is too muddy to come in. So...Marin is having a terrible, horrible, no-good very bad day!
